The Real Chef's Kitchen

Regional Award Winner KDC 2013-14

You’d expect this level of finish and function in a chef’s kitchen, but perhaps it is the unexpected touches here that are the real eye-openers. The pot filler over the range. The pot rack over the island. The multi-useful refectory cart. The 36” farm sink. And in the adjoining dining room, an imposing china cabinet equipped with twin 24” Sub-Zero wine storage units. What could be a more gracious touch for formal entertaining? Since the clients wanted the best and most reliable appliances – fully integrated into the design – Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove were the obvious choices. The Wolf 48” dual fuel range provides the necessary cooking and baking prowess, along with a 30” wall oven, microwave and warming drawer. And could there be a classier way to disguise the Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer columns, than the English style hutch with its large icebox latches? We can only imagine what delicious meals will be enjoyed in this showstopper kitchen.
