Desarrollando una visión para el rediseño de esta cocina, Mikal Otten se encargó de crear un espacio que se duplicó como una cocina gourmet y lugar de reunión familiar. Los patrones de tráfico existentes no funcionaban y requirieron la reconfiguración de puertas y ventanas exteriores. Abrir la cocina a la sala de estar y al exterior proporcionó más luz y una sensación de amplitud.
The Wolf 48” Dual Fuel Range was the perfect focal point of the kitchen, and the visual weight of the PRO 48 refrigerator placed against the fireplace on the opposite wall provided the ideal juxtaposition. The mass of the stainless and glass was layered perfectly against the warm wood. Mikal is known for combining his client’s lifestyle and tastes with his ability to layer textures and add luxurious details. This redesign in soft transitional styling was designed with function as a priority.
