Sub-Zero Group, Inc. Cookie Policy

Last Updated / Effective Date: January 11, 2024

This Cookie Policy describes Sub-Zero Group, Inc.'s use of cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies on its website ("Site").

This Cookie Policy is part of Sub-Zero's North American Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") found here. Capitalized terms not defined in this Cookie Policy have the meanings set forth in the Privacy Policy.

We may change this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use and how we use them. A banner on our website will remind you to review our Cookie Policy.

1. COOKIES, WEB BEACONS, AND OTHER TRACKING MECHANISMS.

We use tracking mechanisms including cookies, web beacons (aka tracking pixels), scripts, tags, and Local Storage (HTML5) for a variety of reasons when you use the Site.

A cookie is a small text file that is saved on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies enable a website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display preferences) and recognize you and/or your browser, along with some information you have provided in the past. Like cookies, web beacons/pixel tags are small graphics on a website or email that monitor your activity when viewing that webpage or email.

We refer to all of these tracking mechanisms together as “Cookies”.

2. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT THROUGH COOKIES?

The type of information we collect through Cookies is specific to your computer or other device and may include the IP address, date and time the device accessed our Site, what parts of our Site you visited, your internet service provider, the device ID number, browser type, the websites you visit before and after arriving at our Site, and whether the web pages requested were delivered successfully.

We may combine information gathered from Cookies with other Personal Information.

3. WHY DO WE USE COOKIES?

We use Cookies to perform data analytics and for targeted advertising. We describe below some of the Cookies we use on our Site to collect information, including Personal Information, and your options related to these tools.

Analytics

We enable certain third party Cookies, including those listed below, from companies that provide us with analytics data about our Site and how you use of the Site. These companies set Cookies on your browser or device. Your browser then automatically sends information collected through the Cookies to those companies. The companies use this information to provide us with reports that we use to better understand and measure how users interact with our Site.

  • Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a tool that places Cookies on your computer or mobile device and transmits certain information that we select about your use of our Site. Google allows you to opt out of Google Analytics by visiting https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. For more information, please visit Google’s privacy policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

  • Adobe Analytics. We use Adobe Analytics, another analytics tool, to collect and process information about your use of the Site. Adobe collects certain information from you by placing Cookies on your computer or mobile device and uses this information to provide us with reports and insights to help us better understand how users interact with our Site, predict patterns and future behavior based on users' past use of the Site and other websites, and improve our advertising performance (as explained in more detail below). To learn more about how Adobe uses the information it collects, visit Adobe’s Privacy Policy and Adobe's page on Adobe Analytics. You may exercise choices regarding the use of Cookies from Adobe Analytics by going to Adobe’s opt out page. Adobe’s opt-out webpage provides the ability for you to individually opt-out or select specific preferences for the applications and services Adobe Analytics provides.

Targeted advertising
We use third party companies that provide us with interest-based advertising services. These companies may serve advertisements on our behalf that are customized based on your interests generated from your visits to websites (including this Site) over time and across different websites. The data collected may be associated with your Personal Information. These advertisements may appear on the Site and on other websites and may be sent to you via email.

  • Google Analytics’ Advertising Features. We have enabled and implemented the following Google Analytics Advertising Features: Dynamic Remarketing with Google Analytics, DoubleClick, and DoubleClick Floodlight. To prevent this data from being used by Google Analytics, follow the instructions to download and install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on for each web browser you use. Using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on will not prevent us from using other analytics tools. Opting out will not affect your use of the Site. For more information on how Google uses Personal Information, visit Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s page on How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps.
  • Adobe Experience Cloud. We have enabled and implemented the following Adobe advertising features: Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Experience Cloud, and Marketo Engage. We use these features on our Site to understand how you use our Site, as well as to provide targeted ads. To opt out, please visit Abode’s opt out page. Opting out will not affect your use of the Site. For more information on how Adobe uses Personal Information, visit Adobe’s Privacy Policy.
  • Pinterest. We use the remarketing services of Pinterest on our Site. The Pinterest Cookie collects site behavior data to show you content that may be of interest to you when you visit or browse the Pinterest app. This information allows us to display personalized ads on Pinterest’s website. To read more information about Pinterest’s Targeted Advertising or to opt out of online behavioral advertising with Pinterest, please click here.
  • Meta. We use Meta services on our Site, including Facebook Connect and Facebook Custom Audiences to understand how you interact with our Site and deliver targeted advertisements. For more information about Meta’s privacy practices, please refer to their privacy policy. To opt out, please visit Meta’s ad preferences page.
  • Microsoft Ads. We may use Microsoft Ads (formerly known as Bing Ads) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and to track when you have visited our Site via a Microsoft Ads advertisement. Microsoft may collect or receive your Personal Information in connection with our use of Microsoft Ads on our Site. To learn more about Microsoft's privacy practices, please refer to their privacy policy. Microsoft allows you to opt out of tracking associated with Microsoft Ads. You may opt-out here.

4. YOUR CHOICES

Disabling Cookies on Your Browsers.

Most browsers automatically accept Cookies. You can disable this function by changing your browser settings, but disabling cookies may impact your use and enjoyment of the Site. You cannot disable all Cookies, such as Cookies that are essential to the functioning of the Site. You can learn more about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been uploaded to your device and how to manage and delete them, by visiting All About Cookies.

Changing Your Preferences

To change your preferences with respect to certain online ads and to obtain more information about ad networks and online behavioral advertising, visit the National Advertising Initiative Consumer opt-out page or the Digital Advertising Alliance Self-Regulatory Program. Changing your settings with individual browsers or ad networks will not necessarily carry over to other browsers or ad networks. As a result, depending on the opt-outs you request, you may still see our ads.

Disabling Ad Tracking on Your Device

On your mobile device, you may have features that allow you to opt out of some targeted advertising (“Limit Ad Tracking” on iOS devices or “Opt out of Interest-Based Ads” on Android). To learn more about how these opt-out features work, please review your device settings. Even if you disable the tracking, keep in mind that you may still receive interest-based advertising, including from third parties with whom your information has been previously disclosed. You may also still receive generic advertisements from third parties that are not based on your interests and preferences.

5. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

If you are a California resident, you may opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your Personal Information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended and its implementing regulations (“CCPA”) by broadcasting an opt-out preference signal, such as the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) (on the browsers and/or browser extensions that support such a signal). To download and use a browser supporting the GPC browser signal, click here. If you choose to use the GPC signal, you will need to turn it on for each supported browser or browser extension you use. Alternatively, to opt-out of these activities, you may fill out the form here.
